A painting based on two different photographs taken around Björkskatan, Luleå.

These photos were the inspiration for the motive. I used an exercise I learned at art school, of taking two different photos and think about how you can combine these into something new.
Rather than trying to combine both pictures fully I decided to take only certain elements from one of them. This achieves an effect of a truly out of place object. Perfectly strange and a little uncanny, just the way I like it.
